Internet Safety Day at St. Joseph’s! πŸ–₯οΈπŸ”’

Today, St. Joseph’s R.C. Primary took part in Internet Safety Day, and what an incredible day it was! Our Digital Leaders – Ross, Kamil, and Danielle – took the lead in preparing and delivering two fantastic lessons, one for each of our classrooms (P1-4 and P5-7).

The lessons were carefully planned to ensure that every pupil learned important ways to stay safe online. Our Digital Leaders did a brilliant job of sharing key information, leading engaging activities, and using digital resources like quizzes, worksheets, and poster-making tasks to reinforce learning.

We are so proud of the initiative, dedication, and teamwork they showed in putting these lessons together. A special mention to Ross, who put in extra time and effort to prepare and confidently lead the sessions todayβ€”his hard work truly paid off!

Thanks to their efforts, everyone in our school now understands more about staying safe online. From recognising safe websites to protecting personal information, our pupils are better equipped to navigate the digital world responsibly.

Kamil describes our school’s digital club below:

St. Joseph’s Digital Club

Hi my name is Kamil and I will write about the digital club in this text.

The digital club is a great thing. We teach digital skills to others so people know how to use digital stuff.

It is a great time for many people and recently me and two others digital leaders did a little quiz for both classes so the little ones and the older ones have a great time. We did it on a website called Kahoot.  It is a website with a lot of quizzes that helps others learn. Everyone enjoyed it and, so Kahoot is good for learning and for fun.

So, in conclusion it is a great time for all young and old.
