A Magical Christmas Party to Remember!
On Wednesday our school hall was transformed into a festive wonderland as pupils from P1 to P7 came together to celebrate our annual Christmas party! It was a day filled with joy, laughter, and plenty of holiday cheer.
We kicked off the event with a delicious buffet lunch organised by Mrs Jones. The children were delighted by the spread, which included a selection of tasty treats and, the highlight for many, Mrs Jones’s own daughter’s homemade school sponge — yum! The hall buzzed with excitement as the children fuelled up for the fun to come.
After lunch, the real party began! The pupils took to the dance floor, showing off their best moves during the dance competitions. We also played classic party games like Christmas Corners and Musical Statues, which had everyone laughing and cheering.
The excitement reached its peak when we were visited by a very special guest: Santa Claus himself, accompanied by his cheerful elf! To welcome him, the children sang a spirited rendition of Jingle Bells, and the hall filled with the sound of festive joy. Santa handed out presents to every pupil, ensuring that no one left without a smile. After another round of Jingle Bells, we waved goodbye as Santa and his elf headed back to the North Pole.
Snacks for the rest of the party included leftover buffet treats, along with crisps and juice provided by the wonderful Mrs Hughes, who had kindly visited us last week. The children looked fantastic in their party outfits, and their smiles lit up the hall brighter than any Christmas lights.
It was truly a magical day, and one that we’ll all remember fondly. Thank you to everyone who made the event so special. We wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
