Little Bunnies on a Big Mission

The P1-4 class had a cracking day today with not one but two Easter egg hunts! In the morning we were joined by the boys and girls in the nursery for an outdoor hunt in the playground. The colourful eggs were hidden (perhaps a little too well) around the school grounds and the boys and girls in Miss Douglas’ class joined forces with Miss Dorans’ Nursery team to find and collect these eggs, working in teams to hop skip and jump around the playground looking high and low to find them! Sadly not all of the eggs were found successfully as some very hungry and mischievous bunnies got to them first..Β  🐰πŸ₯•
Later in the day, after exhausting all of the best outdoor hiding spots for the eggs our House Captains used the eggs that were very kindly gifted to the school by Rev. Marlene for a second Easter egg hunt using the gym hall and STEM room. Despite the small space available the house captains did very well to think of some creative and imaginative spaces to hide the eggs – even Mrs Morrison and Miss Douglas were struggling to find them! Eventually after a lot of searching all eggs were found safely and I am sure they will have tasted even more delicious after all of the effort that went into finding them! πŸ₯šπŸ«
A big thank you again to Rev. Marlene for the Creme Eggs and to the House Captains for organising this little Easter egg hunt! πŸ˜„πŸ”
P.S if any Easter eggs are stull lurking in the playground the finder’s keepers rule applies!! πŸ˜…
