Since the Red weather warning sadly put a stop to our Rabbie’ Burns celebrations planned for Friday, but we had the chance to make up for it today! Michelle got the haggis, neeps and tatties on the go and since the P7’s had done such a good job and put a lot of effort into their speeches, we had a little informal gathering where we got to hear our Toast to the Lads and Toast to the Lassies! 🎉

Fallon said the Selkirk Grace and Ivan learned Address to the Haggis for his Burns poetry recitation.   He kindly stood up and gave us the traditional address before we dished up the goods (along with some yummy ice cream, shortbread and toffee sauce!) .  We all  sat down to get stuck in! 😋

We hope to see you all Friday afternoon to continue the Scottish spirit as we gather together for an assembly to admire the hard work of the pupils and announce the winners of the Burns tasks…
