Kirkcolm Primary School Scots competition winners celebrate by proudly showing their certificates for recitation, beautiful handwriting and creative artwork from primary 1 -7. Huge well done to everyone for taking part – you all did a fab job!! Mr McCracken had the very difficult job of judging the winners, who are listed below:

 

PRIMARY 1 POEM – Ode tae a Spider

On Friday, Kirkcolm went on to celebrate the life and work of Robert Burns at their annual Burn’s Supper.  The haggis was piped in by Mr A. Nicoll ably assisted by the oldest and youngest pupils in the school, Logan Speirs and Danny Dougan. A fantastic afternoon of speeches, toasts and entertainment led by primary 7, was enjoyed by all.
