P4/5 Summary Of Term 1 And beginning of Term 2

They have been practicing angles in mathematics and using a compass. They have also practiced Sumdog and coordinates. They got to cut up all the fruit while making fruit kebabs at Skills Academy. They created some spooky Halloween artwork, such as ghosts and pumpkins. They also created there own version off game. Finally, they practiced numbers in French, that they thoroughly enjoyed.

 

3 Wee Grumphies

Primary 7 have been writing in Scots! We took the story of The Three Little pigs and rewrote it using Scots dialect. It became The 3 Wee Grumphies! We had great fun sharing our stories in class and some of us decided we would like to share our stories with Primary 1.

Aviation Museum Remembrance Service

On Friday 11th November P7 went to the Aviation Museum to participate in a Remembrance Service. -Skye

Reuben and Leah laid a wreath on behalf of Heathhall Primary School and we observed a 2 minute silence. – Archie

After laying the wreath we got to visit the hanger with the Spitfire aeroplane which was very interesting to hear all about. – Leah

   

War Art in Primary 6

Primary 6 has been learning about why we remember on Remembrance Day. We wrote Flanders Field in our best handwriting and answered reading comprehension questions on the famous poem.

We created two pieces of art to do with world wars. We also researched key information on World Wars.
