As part of our skills academy block this term where we looked at the solar system. We created paper rockets in class and had a competition to see which rocket could fly the furthest distance.

Black History Month in Primary 6
Primary 6 have been studying significant individuals for Black History Month, which takes place in the UK every October. Our task was to research Nelson Mandela and create a fact file to share information.
World Mental Health Day in P6
Primary 6 have been learning all about how to look after our mental health today. We took part in an affirmation mat activity and a mindset matters activity. We also listened to mindfulness music.

RRS in Primary 6
Primary 6 pupils designed their tile on Article 38 – You have the right to protection and freedom from war. Children under the age of 15 cannot be forced to go into the army or take part in war.
Rights Respecting Schools
Primary 1 to Primary 7 have been creating and designing a tile to show an article from the Rights of the Child. Each class chose a design and the winners created their tile for the class.
