Nursery Work Kindness Day 13th Nov 24
We made Kindness cards and delivered them around our
our local community and school 🙂

PC McClung – October
Recently, we had a visit from our Community Police Officer, PC McClung. She was in to talk all about using social media safely and responsibly, we learned lots of useful information. Thank you, PC McClung!

Digital Leaders – September
We had two fantastic lessons from our Digital Leaders recently, they taught as all about Scratch and Robotic Lego. They did a great job and they were so patient and knowledgeable. Thank you, Hope and Jai!

Scooter Week – November
This week, the whole school has enjoyed taking part in Scooter Week. P4D have been developing their scooter skills by weaving in and out of cones/tyres and learning to control their speed and stopping. Our last session started in beautiful Autumn sunshine but ended in heavy fog! Look at the pictures below.

Welcome Back – Term 2
Last week was filled with interactive and fun learning opportunities. The class learned how to take notes, discuss their understanding of their note-taking with others, and how to communicate with others. The class also participated in two pupil-led meetings on how they think fair play can be facilitated both in class and on the playground. With the new addition of the toy box, the class has taken time to learn how to play respectfully with their classmates and other members of the school environment. The class has also started taking ownership roles within the class through the form of class helpers, which they are actively engaging in. The use of manipulatives to help aid the understanding and consolidation of learners has also been welcomed, and this will continue throughout term 2.
Here is a lovely range of photos the children and I have taken over the last week to show their learning.
