Day: June 15, 2017

Today Primary 1 went out to our woodland area to use our measuring skills.  Firstly, we all found a stick and arranged them from longest to shortest.  Then we chose a number of different things in the woods to measure using our hand spans and feet.  Here are some photos of us busy at work:

On Wednesday 31st May, P6 enjoyed a sunny, fun filled day at Blair Drummond. After the bus tour of the safari park, the children made the most of their day, enjoying boat trips to chimpanzee island, the zip wire and pedal boats as well as a brilliant sea lion show.

 

 

 

 

On Thursday 8th June P5-7 participated in a World of Work afternoon. 16 presenters gave up their time to come along and talk to the children about their jobs. It was a very informative afternoon for the children and they asked lots of interesting and pertinent questions. Feedback given by the presenters at the end of the afternoon was very positive and, in particular, they commented on the courteous, well mannered and attentive behaviour of the children. We are grateful to all of the adults for giving up their time, and hope you will return again.
