Happy Holiday

We would like to wish everyone a happy and safe holiday. We have had a wonderful year here at St. Andrew’s. Our P1s have grown from newbies into confident young folk who are firmly part of the school. Similarly our P7s have grown from newbies to the idea of being the grown up ones in school to mature young people ready and eager to take on the challenges of secondary education. Time flies and we are once again saying goodbye to our P7s and getting ready to welcome our new P1s after the holidays. Our P7s are always welcome here. We challenge our P7s to step up to the mark at St. Andrew’s. It sometimes means the HT does a bit more moaning than usual. It can be tough love at times, but it is love all the same. We wish them every possible happiness and success in their individual and collective futures. (Whisper it- we actually miss them when they are gone!)

Can we remind everyone that children return to school on Monday 21st August.

Let the sun shine! Please?

Family Fun

We would like thank everyone who was able to support our Family Fun evening last Friday. The weather stayed dry and the hard work put in by Mel and her team was rewarded with and excellent turnout. Everyone seemed to have a good evening together. Although having everyone together is the main point of our annual Family Fun evening there is also a fund raising element to it. It is with heartfelt thanks to you all that we are able to announce that the total from Family Fun now stands at £1983:03. All of this money goes towards future events and resources for your children here at school, all of which is approved through the Parent Council.
