Today I have worked on rounding to 10’s & 100’s and my 2, 3 & 4 times tables.  Me and Rhys wanted to do and experiment – he has put it on the blog.  I am off to rest my hand now cause I have to see the doctor later.

Today I worked on my time and Sumdog.  Me and Niamh wanted to do the stick man and water experiment – here are our attempts and what went wrong.

Attempt 1

We used a pink Crayola pen that washed away in the hot water – experiment failed.

We changed the pen to a whiteboard marker and hot water – experiment failed.

We tried thicker lines and warm water – experiment failed

We used the same whiteboard marker but chilled water from the fridge, this time the experiment worked and the man moved!!!

My Auntie has asked me to make a card for her to give my Grandma and Grandad for their Anniversary too cause she loved the one I made so I am off to do that now.

This morning I did cash codes and it took me all morning, it was quite tricky.

This is my dictionary word sentences:

If there was an alien invasion I would feel excited because I wouldn’t know what to expect.
I bought a ticket to allow me admission on to the train.
Mummy has to eat a particular diet because she is gluten intolerant.
In preparation to play football, I got into my football kit.
Occasionally I enjoy doing a jigsaw with my Mummy.
In Jurrassic World the Indominus Rex escapes it’s enclosure.
You can only go to a certain depth in a submarine before the pressure will crush it.

I’ve also been doing Epic reading. I’m around half way through the Horrible Histories Vicious Vikings.
For maths I’ve been doing my Sumdog challenge and I have all done the rounding tasks so far this week.

Olivia has been working hard on her geography skills and wanted to share it with you guys! Anybody else been scrubbing up their geography skills whilst learning at home?

This evening we decided to get a Mcdonalds. I got a six chicken nugget meal with a lemonade. It was so yummy. It felt so weird to be having a Mcdonalds. There was a big queue but it didn’t take long to get to our turn. I really enjoyed it. Hope you enjoyed my blog bye. Take care. By Orla.

I am catching up with sports week, so here is my stuff.

My sports kit. It has a lion on it, I took ages to draw the lions main. I made it 2 shades of blue and black because I got inspiration for the colours from Pokemon.

Paul and I played table football and pool in the games room when it was too hot and sunny in the garden. I won one game and he won one game of table football. Paul won most of the pool games but I did manage to win one.

 

I made a stop motion movie of a long jump with my teddies. The long jump is made from my kinetic sand. I had to use wool to make the teddies jump but two of them kept spinning so I just held them in the end. My mum had to help me by taking the photos.

We also went out on a massive 6 and a half mile walk!!! I was exhausted. We didn’t get back home until 10pm at night and it was still light. My legs really hurt.

I played in the garden lots and on my trampoline. I played swing ball too. I didn’t get any photos of this though.  My favourite bit was playing on the trampoline with Paul.

I also did the pyjamas to clothes challenge in 20 seconds! But mum forgot to stop the timer properly, so you need to watch the video to prove I did do it.

By the way, I know I am wearing a dressing gown and not a onesie. I just couldn’t find the word 😹😹👍

Hello from Tanith,

Erin’s mummy asked if I would like to draw a poster telling people to take their rubbish home. My mummy talked to us today about what can happen if people throw their rubbish down. It makes me very sad that animals could die because people are mean and cant be bothered to take their rubbish home with them. I did a poster. I hope you like it. And remember, take your rubbish home with you.

Skittles Rainbow

Hi everyone

My mum turned the photos but that didnt work so all the photos are on there side…sorry.

So today I did maths and reading then we made a skittles rainbow. I didn’t  know this was going to happen. I haven’t done it before so it was a surprise when all the colours came out. It looks so pretty. Then I ate all the skittles 😂

I made frozen cup cakes and decorated them for my family. They tasted yummy!
