Holywood Hullabaloo

I just spent half a hour writing about geese but it deleted I’m sad.

Barnacle geese have their name because on the coast of scotland there are barnacles that look a gooses head . In the olden days people thought this was where the geese came from so thats what they called them.

When they are eating they can pack 200 times a minute. They mate for life so that means they are like girlfriend and boyfriend forever.

You can see them st caerlaverock in Dumfries, I think we went there on a school trip.

Today  I watched a film called fly away home. You can hire it on Amazon prime for like 3.49. I rate it 4.5 out of 5.

It is about a girl with orphan geese. The geese need to migrate but they dont know where to go because they have no mum to show them.  The girls dad builds her s plane so she can take them south they follow her because they think she is their mum. Every year they fly back and land by her porch.  Its a true story and it is really good.

I did maths. First I did the blocks where you have to write in half. Im getting the hang of halves and quarters. I also did Sumdog.
I’ve read Cinderella and prince cinders and done some tasks.
Prince Cinders versus Cinderella.
Same.
The main characters  are both mistreated.
The main characters both met someone at a event.
A fairy arrived for both main characters.
Both main characters have to tidy up and clean.
Both main characters lost a bit of clothing.
Both main characters had siblings.
They both have a happy ending.

Different.
Prince cinders was a boy and Cinderella was a girl.
The magic in Cinderella was good and in Prince Cinders the magic was bad.
Cinderella went to a ball and cinders went to a disco.
The fairy that helped cinders was a bit scruffy the fairy that helped Cinderella was neat and tidy.
Cinders  had a toy car for transport Cinderella had a pumpkin carriage.
cinders lost his trousers and Cinderella lost a shoe.
Prince Cinders had brothers and Cinderella had sisters.

I preferred Prince Cinders because it was a bit funny. Cinderella is more serious.

Today I did my words first.  I then listened to Prince Cinders again and answered the questions.

I also did fractions, some were tricky.

I then typed my blog

Yesterday on my walk there was so much rubbish lying about, my little sister kept asking why it wasn’t in a bin!

 

Here is Mickey, he makes me happy because he runs around on me and is very very friendly and fast. He is one and he is good ag climbing.

I made some sentences today.

Tumaini teased me about how bad I am at minecraft.

Mums hair is fluffy and scruffy in the morning.

I announced blush blah blah on my Alexa.

Piglin brute is on minecraft, he is bad.

Tumaini sneers at the dinner table to bug me.

On sumdog Tumaini gave me a luxuary gift

Dad sprinted off with the ball when  we were playing football.

I am enjoying teach my monster to read and sumdog.

I answered the questions for Prince Cinders.

On my walk yesterday there was a lot of rubbish on the  side of the road.

Hey everybody. Today I was on holywood teams speaking to Miss Dale and my classmates. We spoke about what we got for Christmas. I got an Nintendo Switch with Luigi’s mansion, Animal crossing, minecraft and the ringfit adventure. I got lots of board games and clothes. I got Monopoly, Cluedo, Tipping point and Pictionary Air. I like Monopoly because I won the last time I played it. Ive been doing some work on the Stars Wars apostrophes and my maths and five a day maths too. By Esmae

It’s Rhys today I have made a PowerPoint on global warming.  I think that global warming is a serious issue that needs to be taken seriously and do something about. I have emailed my PowerPoint to the school.
