Holywood Hullabaloo

In Spanish we have be about food and 3 of vem are los churros,la paella, el jamon and la chorizo. we learnd Spanish number,s 1-10 one of vem are unoand in English is 1. Colour/los colores one of them are Rojo and an English is red.

in school we have been trying some Spanish food. In school we have been learning Spanish numbers 1-10 and one that was 1-20 and different colours . We have been drawing and discovering different land marks and city,s in Spain. We are learning some of the language we are doing how to say and ask people there names and how to say if you like something we also did different hobbies and we played a game of bingo using the hobbies. We wrote our favourite one of the Spanish foods on a sticky not we also did the same with our favourite hobby in Spanish. We watch this video in Spanish and it was telling us the colour in Spanish. the colours are brown cafe, red rojo, blue azul, verde green, yellow amarillo, black negro, white blanco, pink rosa,purple morado and orange is anaranjado.

We did wee books about our learning and I did sciences and the first thing I written was about how in science club we are making rockets with Mr Walker. this week we are making proper rockets with  big bottles.  we are going to glue triangle pieces of card to the bottles as fins for the rocket, These will help the rocket go up and fly; We will use a cork in the bottom to build up the pressure and really make them fly high up into the sky.  We tested the reaction with small tubes so we know what the reaction will look like in the bigger bottle; we used baking soda and vinegar.

after school every Monday  me and some other people design shoes I’m designing lorax shoes its basically just the lorax trees and if you don’t know what they look like search up the lorax trees. I’ve got orange fishes swimming about and I’ve only done one shoe well I’m almost finished the shoe I just need to design the other side of it which will probably be my name and RNG  and a heart with stands for Rhys Niamh and Gregor Rhys and Gregor are my brothers Rhys is 14 and Gregor is  1 almost 2 his birthday is in June.

In art we are doing paper cut illustrations. We made BIG letters and cut out a design to go inside. in computer science we do stop motion Animation. We do PE after break. We are doing gymnastics using the beam.  We are working on balances, jumps and rolls. In STEM – that’s Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics! We made pancakes last week. To make them we used 2 eggs, flour, sugar and milk. We had bananas, syrup, chocolate sauce and lemon juice for toppings.  I did the dishes after.

hi my name is Carson and today I’m going to tell you about my weekend.

first when I got home I went on my Xbox and was going to go on my game but the servers where closed so I was very bored. It was going to to come out at 11pm but it came out at 5am so I woke up at 9 and went on ant 12am. It was very fun and I had fight bosses and I killed them but then I died then I played with my friend kohdie. The next day I played with my friend Rory on this game called path of titans and its a dinosaur game where you have do quests to grow and if you die you lose some growth. Finally on mothers day i mad my mum breakfast then played with kohdie again.

 

Hi so today l am going to be telling you about our learning

to start of in maths we have been doing money and budgeting its really fun and we get to plan a holiday for 2 adults and l have chosen for them to fly with tui. And the their going to Egypt in June and ye.

Today we have been finishing our wee books for the wall and mine is about writing l have put some cursive, Wednesday writing, dance mat typing.

We have also been doing Spanish activities and we did ours on a scavenger hunt type thing and its really fun.

This inst really about our learning but l have improved my ridding at jenny mill and now l can walk, trot, canter and jump and l am not on lead rein.

Hello there everyone

On Thursday we have art first and we are doing papercut illustrations of something to do with Holywood. I am doing mine about art and it has paint splats on it. Next we are doing computer science and we are making our own 2D animations. After that we have P.E and we are doing gymnastics and making our own sequences  with at least 2 balances,  2 jumps and 2 rolls. Last we are doing pancakes in S.T.E.M which comes under food technology. So that is what we do in Big Thursday

Hello my name is Nia and I am going to tell you about Big Thursday.

The first subject we have is Art with miss J .Last week we where making our paper cut illustrations we where  looking at a woman who dose paper cut illustrations and her name was Abagail Winter. We had to choose a subject that we do in school  and I chose Big Read and I did not get to finish my paper cut but it is really going well.

The next subject we do is computer science in computer science we are doing stop motion we have bean working on a 2D or 3D animation and it needs to be 2 level quality. Me and my group chosen a story about a girl that goes in to a TV show called is it cake and she wins the game and the story takes a twist. We have bean working with card , scrap paper , split pins , pens and some other metals to make it 2 level.

We have bean making pancakes in S.T.E.M and I am going to tell you about how we made them. The first thing we done was get it to groups of 9 or 10 my group was the group of 9 and we had to half all the pancakes we made it was very fun making pancake with my team I would very much like to do some backing again in S.T.E.M .

After school on Friday which is basically the weekend I got a new game. I got wwe 2k24 on the day it came out and it was so fun there was a special referee match and I was a quite bad ref I beat up the people a few times. I played an ambulance match and in those you have to get the people into the casket in the casket match and in the ambulance one its the same but ambulance I also finished the 40 years of wrestle mania mode so fast that is where you go through some of the greatest wrestle mania matches of all time in all eras so that was fun.

Also in the weekend I played games with Carson and we had tons of fun he did get annoyed at me cause I got him shouted at because I was to loud.

and the biggest thing is….. I got a new room!!  my mum and dads room is now my room so all my stuff is in there so my old room is now an office but my mum and dad have to sleep on an inflatable bed downstairs but they will work something out. my room isn’t finished but were working on it
