Mongolian Throat Growls

Hi all, Caspian is back!

My happiness picture is of Idris in the woods today but she kept bouncing around so the picture is blurry. She is a really funny and cute dog and we always have a great time on our walks. We are still doing our mile a day challenge, we even did it in the rain at the weekend.

First this morning I did some algebra. Then my spelling today focussed on one word in particular. I can finally spell DISAPPEAR!!!!!!!! Mum gave me three challenges to help me remember the spelling. First I speed wrote disappear as many times as I could in one minute. Then I wrote five sentences with the word disappear. Finally, I created a wordograph.

Next I did the letter ink blots. Followed by French. The exercise with the animal sounds is wrong as it says pigs oink in French and also groin in French. The first French should have been English. Mum said I had a keen editorial eye. Also in the word search, I found that cheval stands for goats cheese. I finished on 5 a day. I had to do all my workings out as Mum realised my last lot were done with a calculator. Oops, I was caught, sorry!!

After Tanith’s calm club, Mark introduced us all to Mongolian tribal heavy metal music. Mum, Mark and me created a tribal dance to the beat of the music but Tanith didn’t like it so didn’t join in. It is nothing like the songs she writes or likes. I thought the heavy metal was cool and really different.

Ciao!

Save Wildlife, Bin Your Rubbish

Hello! Caspian here!

Today we started officially doing the mile a day challenge as Mum only signed us up last night but unofficially we have been walking in the woods or by the river every day.  Today we went through the small forest across the road from the park. We saw a tree creeper – the first one I have ever seen. We didn’t have a camera with us so I have attached a picture from online so you can see what it looks like. I was cross to see so much litter. I found a 7up bottle which a shrew or mouse could have easily got trapped inside. I put it in the park bin.

Our cat Dodger isn’t in a good condition. He has been sick by my bed and in the kitchen and he has a runny nose.  Mum was up with him all last night. The vets collected him two days ago to give him some medicine. They said it could take at least a week for him to recover.

We got a new school laptop today that we can keep for all our future learning needs. (Thank you Miss Dale and it was great to see you.) Also schoolwork-wise I did two things on Percy Fawcett – a letter from Percy to his wife and a news article, some maths – 5 a day and times tables, and the French animal jumble.

My happy photo for today is Big Eye the minion wearing a fez hahahahahahah! He is Tanith’s teddy and she nearly exploded in laughter when I put the fez on LOL LOL XD LOL

And a bit more

Hello, it’s Caspian again,

In addition to my reporting home news, today I also did some spelling work, mum has only managed to catch me out on two words. I can’t put them here as I can’t spell them!!!

I did 5-a-day and a mystery number exercise.

After my half hour with Mr Laidlaw, where I did some algebra, I identified which animals live in the Arctic. I watched a World Wild Life film about the Polar region.

Bye all, see you tomorrow.

Home News

Hi. Its Caspian.

As part of my schoolwork today, I had to find the most interesting news story in my house. To be honest, the most interesting thing is Netflix. But that’s not to write about. I have multiple articles, so be prepared to fall asleep.

A Man Of Antwerp by Mark Montgomery

Mark Montgomery’s latest book A Man Of Antwerp’s formatting is nearly done and according to the editor it should be out by next week.

Grey Cat Behind The Sofa

As I said, it’s boring but it makes me feel happy to see Ludo, my grey cat behind the sofa playing. I find it humorous.

Water Bottle Mania

My sister has a very odd desire for water. The second one bottle is half empty she goes and gets another one. In case there is a zombie apocalypse, we will ration our supplies. And if that water gets drank in one day, we’re feeding her to the zombies.

Piggy Intercity

Piggy Intercity is expected to come out around Friday or Saturday. The lowdown of it is that you will be able to create a custom character and use it to fight off infected and gather supplies. I find that it is going to be the best part of Piggy yet!

Okay you’re welcome for the news, now I have to get back to school.

Raaaaawwwrrrr (Anyone could guess it’s Wookie)

Pretend There’s a Title Here Please!

Hi. It’s Caspian.

So as per usual, I did my maths and algebra. There was no spelling today and I was curious to know why. I also did a lesson on Polar bears. I had to find 10 facts and then I put them all and some more onto a poster. Speaking of polar bears, the name I want for the polar bear Miss BD adopted is Regan. It gives it a dimensional vibe to me. Also, I heard tonight there will be a new piggy game called Piggy: Intercity. It sounds so cool. I’ll be trying to watch KreekCraft’s livestream for when it comes out.  Until tomorrow.

  1. Polar bears can swim for 72 hours straight.
  2. They mainly eat cod and salmon.
  3. Polar bears live in the Arctic.
  4. Their dens have small air holes so they can breathe.
  5. Their fur is transparent; it is white because it reflects the light.
  6. They leave their mothers at 3 years old.
  7. There are only about 20000 left in the world because people are hunting them into extinction.
  8. They can live for 25 years.
  9. Their hunts are rarely successful.
  10. They as classed as marine mammals.

Goodbye!

My Version of The Lost City of Z

Hello. Caspian here.

Today I did some algebra and spelling. My favourite was making my own version of the lost city of Z out of Lego. The first area is the town square, where the people of the city worship great statues of heroes like, Magmicus who slayed the great dragon of Auragaura. There is a refreshing doughnut stand to keep people happy. The snail is Zagel, the creator of all beings. There are more to explain later. The second area is the palace market. The golden being with the two katanas is the golden haeshel. In the city, they call fighters haeshels. The half purple and gold statue with the sword and shield is the emperor. There is a police station next to the apple hotdog shop too. The pineapple on top of the palace is the religious myth the people have. Also in the town square there is a crane to give people a lift to anywhere – it is a freelance crane. The lamp on top of the police station is the Ultimate. The light source of the city. The third area is the outlands. There is little life except for the tree and the half human mutant wolf. I couldn’t find any other animal pieces so I had to deform a once majestic wolf. The pile of bones is from a mutant demon frog. The head is up on the wall. My lost city of Z was the most advanced city ever. I was going to build a rocket before I realised I didn’t have the parts. I will try to make a new stop motion soon. My Fusion 5 iPad should help me.

I’m going to end my blog there for now. Adios!

Happy New Year!

Hi all, Caspian is back.

I know it has been a long time since I have last blogged. I was enjoying the festivities of Christmas and The New Year. My favourite present was a Fusion 5 tablet. I usually play Plants vs Zombies 2 on it.

The real reason I actually did this blog was to ask what the class code is for epic. I was completely careless and didn’t write it down. If anyone could remind me in the comments that would be great. Thanks.

Crafts of Festivity

Hi all, Caspian is back!

It’s been a while and I’ve been very busy doing my usual work with Mum and Mr Laidlaw, and also crafting Christmassy decorations, drawings and bakes. Mum introduced me to Troika by Prokofiev and I did a comprehension exercise on Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol after watching the film.  We have watched some really cool Christmas family films together. I made some peppermint creams, my cowboy snowman was the show stopper, and I have eaten most of them already. I tried to make a peppermint cream from the game Piggy but it turned out to be a half rabbit half pig demon monster so I ate it very quickly to stop anyone from having nightmares.

I have finished the Explorer so hope I’m getting lots more books for Christmas as I have read my current library loads of times already.  I am very excited for Christmas and I will probably be dancing it out on Christmas Eve.

I wish you a merry Christmas and a happy new year. Now it is the holidays, Mum has said I can spend a bit more time on my game Piggy as there is a Christmas event where you can get secret skins and maybe a trap by doing a series of challenges hidden throughout a certain map. This map will most likely be the Christmas map the creator, MiniToon has said will be released around the 20th and the 24th. Mark has also planned us some new walks which we are going to do through the holidays in between eating all the home baking Mum is doing for Christmas. We might have to roll round our walks!

I also drew a picture of Christmas birds originally meant to be a festive Raven from the show Teen Titans Go! but I changed my idea to birds. The robin is guiding the reinbirds in to the landing spot, the three sparrows are the sparrows of Christmas Past, Christmas Present and Christmas yet to come. The vulture is Father Christmas, the owl is Mrs Claus, the kingfisher is an elf, so is the present wrapping woodpecker and there is also a snowbird.

Class Call

Hi all, Caspian is back. Today I have done a comprehension and coloured in a picture of a plesiosaurus. I also had a call with P4/5. We did some Kiva work. Some of you should remember the work I did in the Kiva class because I was there with you.

I saw the tree pictures in the background. They are very artistic. I don’t know if I am a good artist but I try my best since, art is imagination at the end of the day. I would like to be Leonardo da Vinci of the modern age. I feel like bragging on and on about art but, the blog would have 80 more pages if I shared my art ideas, opinions and even my own works of art.

Sadly this time has to come, Sssssssssss! (Snake for goodbye)

The Newest Story Yet

Hi all, Caspian is back.

Today I have done some maths, spelling,  more work on Percy Fawcett, and had a call with P4-5. Last night I wrote a story while watching a film. I will write it down below. A few things to say first though. Usually my stories are made up of natural occurrences, this time I  wanted to go for a more… mystical approach. So, here is the story:

I ran through the dark night , the only illumination being the Moon in the night sky. As I ran with my animal friend, I noticed a glimmer near the Ghost’s Cave. I thought it was a trick of the light, but as I turned to investigate, the glimmer dulled. The Moon had gone in, and I decided to go closer. I touched the glimmering item, and the world shifted. Everything was black from then on. Although, I don’t think I’m on Earth anymore…

Auf Wiedersehen!!! (German)
