“Hello today Nia\me and Anneliese are going to writ our blog about us learning the songs and choreography to the Viking opera .

Last month our class we got told that we have been chosen to be in the Scottish opera Vikings. We where very exited so two weeks ago we started to learn our parts for the opera. The class split in half one half was the Villagers and the other half was the Sorcerers. We have learned songs in the opera what are called Vikings for ever, Prepare Vikings prepare, Defenders of the earth  and We have the power . The two songs  are called Defenders of the earth which is the Villagers song and We have the power is the Sorceress song . One of the other schools are being the Queens Vikings so that means we do not need to learn their part. We have moved on to learning the dances to the songs we have learned so far.

       This is one of the song and dances to Vikings it is called Pepper.

Hello today I’m going to blog about one of the subjects I really enjoyed on Big Thursday.

 The subject I am going to blog about is Outdoor Learning. Our class has been improving on the activity for the last 3 or 4 weeks. The activity is Mapping!!!To do mapping we had to use a piece of paper, A pencil, A compass, A measuring tape , and our self’s . How did we do Mapping? We got in to a partner or a group and one of the people in the group or partner stud in a spot not to far and not to closes away from your starting point then you get your compass face sing the white arrow pointing at the N that stands for North . Once we had the white arrow pointing North we put the campus  down carefully on the pace of paper we moved the paper to line up with the lines on the paper .After we lined up the paper and campus we got our measuring tape to stretch all the way to the person in a spot  where you can measure to . Once we have used the messengering tap we see  how many meters it was to the other location writ it down on the page draw the meter using the side of the campus . Once we got the hang of it we ended up with our very own map.

Hello today I’m going to write to you about what I did in my weekend.

Last week my mum and step dad  have been working very hard because last week on Saturday and Sunday the Gardens of cosmic Speculation had opened .I was very exited. So when my best friend came over for a play date, I asked her if she wanted to go down once every one has finished work. My mum said yes, her boss did not mind. so we went down to see what they had done and what is new. It looked so amazing we spent lots of time down their. Now for the exiting part on Saturday and Sunday I got to go down to see the  opening days. people from all over the world were  there. It was a big surprise to see so many people . I loved all of the new models and trees and plants. I went down to see my mum and step dad, they were happy that it was going so well too. On Sunday I saw a lot of singers and bands, there werebagpipes as well .It was so fun cant wait to see the next opening day next year in 2025 .

Hello today Nia and Anneliese are going to blog about our trip to the Scottish film foundation.

We are going to write about one of our stations that was Scottish film .

When we got to the Scottish film station we had a talk about what makes us feel Scottish, Scottish actors, Scottish films and can we name any famous Scottish films.

Our teacher of our class then gave us a piece of paper to write our own Scottish film that can be Comedy ,Horror, fairy tail  and a Princess story with a twist. In our story we could have actors from Scotland. Me and Anneliese  made our story about seagulls invading Scotland and they came all the way from Seagull land .We had some actors from Scotland such as … Gordan Ramsey, Nessie ,Billy Connelly and such others .We told our story to our group while getting filmed it was very scary getting in front of lots of different children we don’t know, but we went up and it went very well.

“Hello today I`m going to writ to you about Enter prise hope you enjoy.

So the first thing we got up to was we split into groups of three or more .My group wanted to do slushy’s and chocolate fruit .But to many groups wanted to do food so our teacher said we should do a café .Then a compel of children said that they didn’t want to do a café so we split in to different groups and that didn’t go as planed ever so our teacher gave us a page of paper that said to think of a idea to sell that is not food. My group said that we should do plastic cups then one of the people in my group said wee should do paper Masha lamps made out of balloons and make them into balloon Animals . Our teacher liked the idea so today we started to begin our plan I was doing the presentation for when Jullien’s dad comes in to see if our product is worthy enough to be invested in. The pitchers of the balloons is what my group has started .

Hello, today I am going to write to you about the two most exiting things I done in my Easter Holladay’s .

 The first thing I’m going to write to you about is Easter at my grandparents house. In the morning me and my brother went and looked for the chocolate eggs that we got from the Easter bunny and our family then once we fond all of the eggs we took photos to send to our mum and step dad because they where on their honeymoon in Madeira which is in Portugal after we sent the photos we went and painted eggs I painted a chick my brother painted a minion. Then when we all painted are eggs we went into a field and had a roll the egg competition my brother won because his egg did not brake. After we cleaned up all of our eggs we went down to a river and had a picnic. It was so fun.

The second thing I’m going to tell you about is that I went over to Anneliese house for a sleep over. So at first I came over for a play date me and Anneliese went down to the school to see if there was any flowers on the ground to use for our perfume bottles. We went down to the hills and we saw a big river so we went down in the river and swam in it. We where so wet so we went into the filed next to the school and we swam in there to. Then we came back to her house and I stayed for dinner we had pesto pasta after that we got three face masks one was a lip mask , eye mask and the other mask was a normal face mask we left them on for 5 minuets. Me , Anneliese and her sister went up stairs and made a makeup video then we asked our mums if I could stay for a sleepover. They said yes. We were so happy so I stayed the night I had so much fun I hope to do that again .

Hello my name is Nia and I am going to tell you about Big Thursday.

The first subject we have is Art with miss J .Last week we where making our paper cut illustrations we where  looking at a woman who dose paper cut illustrations and her name was Abagail Winter. We had to choose a subject that we do in school  and I chose Big Read and I did not get to finish my paper cut but it is really going well.

The next subject we do is computer science in computer science we are doing stop motion we have bean working on a 2D or 3D animation and it needs to be 2 level quality. Me and my group chosen a story about a girl that goes in to a TV show called is it cake and she wins the game and the story takes a twist. We have bean working with card , scrap paper , split pins , pens and some other metals to make it 2 level.

We have bean making pancakes in S.T.E.M and I am going to tell you about how we made them. The first thing we done was get it to groups of 9 or 10 my group was the group of 9 and we had to half all the pancakes we made it was very fun making pancake with my team I would very much like to do some backing again in S.T.E.M .

Hello my name is Nia and today I am going to talk to you about what I learned in my Spanish class.

I am going to tell you about yesterday it was Monday and in the afternoon we were doing our Spanish games, some of us made games . Half of the class were playing the Spanish games/activates the other half were teaching the game / activities. Me and my partner Niamh, last week, were learning some Spanish Animals and at the end of all the animals we learned, we started to make our game. We got it finished and I am going to tell you our plan. The aim of the game is to match the English animal to the Spanish animal.  On one side  of the paper there is the English animal and on the other side there is the Spanish animal. You have to get a coloured strip and put it underneath the matching animal. Yesterday we taught  some of the  class our game and it went really well .

Hello today I am going to tell you about me and my friends Art club.

Last week  on Art club me, Nancy and Mena  done a very creative art project. We got  paper and pipets and coloured water AKA paint with water in a pot. The infants loved it  and they made lovely pictures but sadly they all smudged but they still looked amazing. We all got some group photos and some photos of  their art work. It was very fun. I think that this time we could plan things a bit more better and maybe add some of everyone ideas and make something a bit less messy but I am glad that everyone was having fun.

Hello everyone today I am going to white about big woodland brake .

This week on big woodland break it was Icey cold but so fun. The  first thing that we did was go on the ice  we where ice skating

it was so fun. While everyone was on the ice me and my friends went to explore the woods and we found more ice. We got more people to come and slide on it and then it became a competition there was lots of people who can go really far. When everyone was sliding i went to go and see my other friends they where sliding down a steep hill on a sledge i did not go on it because it looked very scary . The ice sliding champion was McKenna she was so good she made it all the way to the end .
