In the Easter Holidays I went on a plane to Barcelona in Spain. IT WAS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We arrived very late at night on Sunday. Around nine, half nine. The house was in a place at the outskirts of Barcelona called Vidreres. It was a very big house. There were two apartments at the bottom of the house and a place for the owner to live just above.
On the first day we went to the medieval town, Girona. The first thing we went to see was a famous cathedral. It was beautiful.
On Tuesday we went to see a Salvador Dali museum. We saw his coffin that was in the wall.
We spent two days in the town of Barcelona to do some shopping.

Hello there everyone
On Thursday we have art first and we are doing papercut illustrations of something to do with Holywood. I am doing mine about art and it has paint splats on it. Next we are doing computer science and we are making our own 2D animations. After that we have P.E and we are doing gymnastics and making our own sequences with at least 2 balances, 2 jumps and 2 rolls. Last we are doing pancakes in S.T.E.M which comes under food technology. So that is what we do in Big Thursday

Hello everybody
For our learning topic we are learning about Spain and Spanish. On Duolingo I am learning Spanish and I consider myself very good at it. Can you speak Spanish or any other language? I have started to make my own Spanish dictionary and I have wrote all the Spanish words that I know. I might try and start my own club for people who want to learn how to speak Spanish and teach them what I know. I really like to share my knowledge to other people that like the same kind of things that I like as well. The other reason that I would like to do a Spanish club is because then I might learn some other things that I didn’t know and I will be able to search up other things that people want me to know and then I can tell them! We have also learned about the different places in Spain like Barcelona, Seville, Valencia, Madrid, Murcia, Mora, Santiago De Compostela and Toledo. Seville is very famous for their delicious oranges and it’s brightly coloured town. Seville has a very pretty little river with a beautiful bridge over it. Barcelona is a very beautiful place with lights.

Every big Thursday P 6-7 have art first with Mrs Jardine and we are doing our very own relief sculptures. Mine is a landscape one with a moon and snowy mountains with trees growing on top. We are only allowed to use cardboard, scissors and PVA glue to stick it all together. Next week my friend and I will be gluing our relief sculptures together and then we shall leave them to dry and come back for them the week after that. This week I will be adding a couple more mountains and add lots more trees. But that will not take long so once I have done that I shall be ready to glue it all together.

Every Friday at two o’clock in the afternoon we go up the woods that are close to the school. We have an hour to play with our pals and jump in muddy puddles before we go home for the weekend. I love to watch other people throw mud balls at each other and do the longest mud slide competition. Last week it was icy up the woods and we done an ice – skating competition to see who could slide the furthest along a frozen stream. McKenna won, she got REALLY far along the stream. This is a picture of her sliding on the stream in her wellies that are very good for ice – skating in up the woods.
I had a go as well and it turns out to be really fun. Some people slid on their knees and Kye decided to slide on his tummy like a penguin. Me!!!! I thought that it was awesome!

Hello there everyone
This morning at school it was snowing, not too heavily but not too lightly either. When we went in for our first lesson of the day it started snowing more and more heavily. After we had done our spelling workout we done another cursive handwriting challenge. This time it was a speed challenge to see how fast we could finish the sheet. After that we read chapter two in our new reading books. The options were The giraffe and the Pelly and me, The secret of the black moon moth, The iron man and The Hodgeheg. Me and my friend Nancy chose to read the Hodgeheg. Me and Nancy think that it is very funny.

Hello there
Last week, on Friday, we had the school show auditions . Our Christmas school show is going to be ”Aladdin trouble”. I got the part of Jasmine and I am sharing the part of Jasmine with my best friend Nia. I will do the first show as Jasmine, Nia will do the second show as Jasmine and then we will be doing the last show together as Jasmine somehow. The show is going to be in two and a half weeks and then rehearsal week is in twelve days. I am extremely exited for rehearsal week and the school show. My other friends Nancy and Abigail will be the baddies. Abigail is going to be Abanazar and Nancy shall be Wantu, Abigail’s evil sidekick . The show will be on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday on the 12th, 13th and the 14th of December.

Hello everyone
On Wednesdays after school I done an P1-3 art club along with Nia and Nancy as helpers. I lead the art club and we do three different stations. The first station is origami bookmarks, the corner ones, led by me. The next one was led by Nia and she done Christmas themed art using paint. And last but not least the third station was led by Nancy who was doing cute drawings in her style but their drawings were their favourite animals. The art club was very successful because we had fourteen people turn up. They were all behaving excellently and I hope to see the same behaviour next week as well. I hope to have as many people turning up next time too. Here are some pictures of their art work…

Hello there,
Last week on big Thursday, we were mixing oil and water together to see what happened and the oil stayed at the surface of the water in bubbles that looked like frogspawn. We then put small drops of food colouring into the water and oil. We put the food colouring in with a pippet and it looked like jellyfish. After that we got a bowl of baking soda and poured a cup of vinegar on to and when the baking soda absorbed the vinegar it bubbled, hissed and then the bubbles overflowed out of the bowl.
