Hello folks how are you all?

For my artists around the world task l chose to learn about… Hayo Miyazaki! Here are some facts about him.

• He is a Japanese manga artist.

• He is also an animator, filmmaker and co founder of Studio Ghibli.

• He is 79 but he is still working/ drawing!

• He made at least 38 movies!
• Every film he has made contains a flying scene because of his love for airplanes.
• He traveled a lot when he was a child and that is what inspired his artwork.

Here is my picture of Princess Mononoke in his style.

Today l made a map of my garden with my daddy and sister. It was great fun but a little bit hard to start with. The most interesting part of the task was learning how to draw an accurate map from our rough measurements. Here is the finished result…

l am FINALLY posting my comic strip!!!!! You can see Marine  defeating the villain with her tidal wave 🌊! Making a comic strip made me realise how long it must take to make a WHOLE book! 📖

Hello Team Holywood how is everyone?

This is Twiggy, my cat 🐈. Today I am going to tell you a bit about her.

• Twiggy is a year old! ( Seven in cat years!)
• She is very playful and loves to explore.
• Sometimes, ( if she’s in the house and mummy is hoovering)    She will sleep peacefully when the Hoover is on.
• She purrs like a tractor!!!! 😂😂 and purrs pretty much all the time!
• Twiggy is sometimes fussy about the meat she gets!

Twiggy meows by the door to go out and when we open the door she just stairs at you like “ seriously”. 😑 she likes to play in the long grass in the field. Twiggy likes sleeping on the windowsill, a cushion, and a chair with a blanket. Her favourite thing to do is chasing the birds. 🕊she also likes to chase shrews and mice🐀. She likes to play IT she pats our leg and then runs off!😀

Hi everybody, how are you all? Hope you are all well. Happy sports week!!  I started the day with doing PE with Joe which was good fun and filled me with energy but by the end my legs were like jelly. In the afternoon I did some yoga in the garden to stretch those jelly legs. That was great fun as well.l did a class and Mena did one as well!! Bye for now!

Hello team Holywood how are you all? Hope you are well and enjoying the sunshine! Yesterday was World  Otters Day so today l learned about Otters here are some facts about these fascinating animals!

• Otters are a member of the Weasel family
• Some sea otters cover themselves in seaweed when they sleep
• The largest otter is 1.8 meters and can weigh up to 45 kg
• The smallest otter is two feet long and weighs 1 kg

North American sea otters are hunted for their fur but there are organisations around the world trying to stop the hunting.

Hi everyone how are you all!
Hope everyone is well and enjoying the sunshine  ☀️!
as part of the literary task this week l created a super hero 🦸🏻‍♀️.
My super hero is called Marine because her power is the power of water, she can send a tidal wave so big that it nocks the villain out. Then she can trap them in an air bubble that only she can pop. Because of this she can defeat the villain!!
Marine has baby blue hair and baby blue eyes. She has a dark blue top and matching trousers. Her special feature is the symbol on her top which is deep violet and wine red Colour, the symbol on has a lightning bolt behind it. Marine wears boots as they are comfortable! Hi everyone how are you all?

This week l made Mena some breakfast 🥐 as an act of kindness. l also wrote to my pen pal in Japan, her name is Momoha. I practiced my new words and wrote sentences using the words l learned. Mummy gave me some challenging maths tasks which was hard but I done it all. I also done a bit of geography and learned about the continents. l started to make a ladybird, after that l also played some songs on the Piano 🎹. I done the coding task where  you thought of an object and used three adjectives to describe it!! Today l done some learning about living things!!🦊🦊🐥🐷🐼🐬🐙🦈🐊🦚🦚🍀🌲☘️See you later! Oriana
