Homeschooling today!!!!!

Hello team Holywood.   I hope that you are all well.

Today I done some algebra it was super fun.we also worked on the “who owns the fish” challenge. It was tough, we think it’s the German who owns it.( It was a family effort). I also done high quality vocabulary and read this weeks Shakespeare play about Julius Caesar I thought it was a bit violent.   That’s just my opinion.

See you soon bye!

Polar Bear Project

Hello Team Holywood,

How is everyone? I hope that you are all well.

Today l done some research on polar bears. I found some amazing facts and things I didn’t know about them. It’s fascinating that their fur is actually clear though the snow makes it look white.

Bye! Oriana

A polite message…

To the person who hid Daniel and Ella’s shoes,

I understand you might feel embarrassed about what you have done, but could l please ask you to own up and do the right thing as this would save the whole school from taking the blame and having to do a detention tomorrow. Your honesty would be appreciated since we are Team Holywood and we are kind to each other.

Thank you.

How To Make A Den Using Natural Materials

You will need:

  • An area to create your den
  • Sticks
  • Willow sticks
  • Sycamore branches ( thick branches )
  • Dried nettles and brambles

Method :

  1. Firstly find an area to build outdoors ( make sure it’s not in the open ).
  2. Next use the sticks to make the base of the den placing them in a tripod.
  3. Then place the willow sticks and sycamore branches in a tripod to protect your clan from wind, snow, hail, and rain.
  4. Lastly scatter the top and the sides of the den with the dry nettles and brambles to keep other clans away.

There you have a den!

My Trip To Japan🙃🙂

Hello Team Holywood how is everyone? This week l chose  to take a trip to Japan because l really like the cherry blossoms and the way that it’s very different to our culture.  My favourite thing about Japan is the manga art!!!!! I also drew two pictures in manga style. We also looked at Japanese schools, some Japanese  school pupils go to a different country to learn different languages for a week and a pupil from a different country go to Japan for a week. Did you know there are no cleaners in most Japanese schools because the pupils do the cleaning😮.That way the children learn to respect the school environment and how to keep the school tidy and they appreciate how much work goes into keeping it clean! This includes sweeping leaves 🍁, mopping the floor and emptying bins !  In Japan people have a lot of respect for each other.

Please find my pictures below. Hi
