Music

Hi it’s Erin

This is what I thought about the music.

My favourite song was the folk song from Korea,

I enjoyed the folk song from Iceland as well.

My granny enjoyed the song called Caledonia.

My walk

Hi it’s Erin

here’s my walk .

Granny , Papa  and I went to Newbridge  and went through the gate

where the steps are. We went through two fields, and went through the gate  to the path. We  followed the path along the river side and then turned back.

The path was very wet.

Sea shanties

Hi it’s Erin

Today I have been listening to Sea Shanties. I preferred  the original song. The original  song, didn’t have as much music as the remix had more music.

The remix has more people singing it then the original.

I  also had a go at the singing and the rhythms.

It was fun.

Melting ice ❄️

Hi it’s Erin,

I used ice cubes to see how long it takes for ice to melt at room temperature.

We did  the experiment in granny’s kitchen.

A   I put ice on the tin foil.

B.  I put some ice on a waxed cloth.

C.  I put ice in a cup.

D   I put the ice in a glass covered with tinfoil.

See the results on my bar graph picture.

Igloo🍙⛄

Hi it’s Erin,

Today I will be showing you my model of an igloo.

I watched a BBC video to find out facts about Igloos.

The Inuits use the fresh snow that’s packed tightly together

and they carve them into blocks. When the igloos are built

they put overhangs in to  stop it melting as quickly .

The igloos let the daylight in and keeps the cold out.🌞

I used paper mache and card to make my igloo.

I made.two figures to live in my igloo, Snow dog and Mr Block.⛄😁
