Yesterday my mum and sisters raced to get home. They knew there was going to be something announced. They all thought it was lockdown and it was.
Today we have not been out the house what so ever. This morning I did Joe Wicks morning exercise. I liked that. My mum makes me do a schedule for every day. It really helps. My mum said we are going to make my own project separate from school but I still have to all the research. It’s about world war 2. I’m reading a book called machine gunners and that’s from world war 2.  I will be doing other things later.

Today I started with spelling. My sister made me do objectives (targets) that was for  English. I had to write an article about the coronavirus and there’s more I’m doing them tomorrow (Tuesday). Today I did a spelling quiz I got 8 out of 10. After English it was maths my other sister taught me. I did adding and subtracting fractions it was easy when it you the hang of it. It was really fun.  Then after that I had lunch. I started a bit late because I tidied my room. Then I’m here doing a blog. I’m going to read a chapter of my book later.

Hi is Orla today we are going to talk about Mother’s Day. I got my mum a key finder. There is six key rings and a remote. You press the letter on the remote that you want and then it will bleep. There is ABCDEF. My sisters got my mum mindful oils and tasks to do. We took one out but we had to put back in because it was to with socialising.

Today I have not been busy. I have done few things though. I will be playing some somdog tonight.

Have I done exercise?Let’s find out.                                                   Well actually I have. My dad said I have to do an hour of exercise every day so today I did a half an hour to and hour walk.  My brother Stephen came with us to. We walked round my estate which is quite big. In the middle of the walk    my dad bumped into someone. They talked for such a long time but they had such cute dogs. I wanted to carry on walking by my self but I would of probably gotten lost.  My brother was way ahead at that point . After that we stoped at the football  pitches and kicked the ball about for a wee bit. I learned how to scoop up  the ball with my foot then it would go high into the air. We were doing that for about 15 minutes. Then we walked back to the house and chilled. That’s all we have really done today.

Today is Friday. My school shut at three o’clock. It was sad because I LOVE school. Today I got picked to go out with Felix ( the gardener) while big read. Also I was with five other people. First we had a chat what we were going to do. Then we got bags of compost I would like to believe and suddenly they were lots of spiders I was terrified. We decided that they were to heavy to carry so we got some wheel barrows. We put the bags in the lifted flower beds and stabbed them intill there were holes. After that we emteyed the bags and moved on. We made our own plant. I made mixed letuce. We made two pots full of soil. One had the seeds in it and the other was a bigger pot so when it grew bigger it had space.

After break we had maths with Miss Stapelton. We were sorting math packs for home out. The cool thing was at the end we got to pick a note book, pen and a chocolate egg. In maths we were doing sketch up. Some people have already had a go of it so we had to help the people that didn’t do it.  My group didn’t like it so we moved on to a textbook. I like sketch up more though. It is really fun there is tons of things to do and explore.

After lunch we went into the reading hub and picked three books some people got more like me because I had two already in my bag. Then we done genuis hour. Genuis hour is where you have to pick a thing that you want learn about but it can’t be a one answer question. I’m doing how horses function and is any horse shows cruel to them. Charlie asked if we could go out for our last hour but Miss Dale said no. Then after genuis hour Miss Brocki Donald said we were going out for half an hour.

Finally it was the sad part saying goodbye to everyone. I’ll be keeping in touch with a few of them. Like Dakota and Merissa.

On Monday we had a science lesson. Miss Dale brought some teachers over. We got in to partners and named us crisp or crumb. I was crisp. We had to try clean  filthy water which only cotton wool, pop socks, gravel and sand. The teacher were from North west community center and Lincludin. The water had soil and particles in it not nice.  We had to one by one. The cotton wool worked for me and my partner Merissa also for the most of the class. A few people thought the pop socks were the best to work with. In the challenge we also had to try not to waste as much of the water Sarah and Kaitlyn lost quite a bit more than half of the bottle. Miss Dale put stickers on three people A B C. AT the end them people had to ask and  receive questions.

Hurricanes are powerful storms and violent winds that form over water.

Hurricanes are a tropical storm that form in the Atlantic ocean with wind speeds of at least 119 km (74 miles) per hour.

It’s only when they move over land that their power can be seen much more clearly.

Hurricanes have 3 main parts, the calm eye in the center, the eye wall where the wind and rain are the strongest and then the rain bands which spins out from the center. That gives the storm it’s size.

Hurricanes with wind moving faster than race cars can tear down houses and lift up heavy vehicles often destroying everything in there path.

On Thursday we do drama. We do it for one hour. In drama we learn to mime. to help us mime we play murder mystery and mime cards they have got things on them to act out you can not tell your group. They have to guess what your acting if you guess the right answer you get one point. We also learn how to make some scenes. I love making up scenes. You have to use communication skills. It is quite hard to agree with your group. Two weeks ago we played for the first time it was a leading an orcisra.

Today we had Miss Dale for our teacher. In the morning we did spelling workout. We play spelling games with our partner. Then we read our history books; we have to read another five chapters by Monday. Then we read our book for about fifteen minutes. We also made a verb wee book.

After break we did maths. We have Miss Stapleton for that. My group went on Sumdog first. After that we had to do a subtract decimal sheet.

Then after lunch we did a reading box card. Then we started our four seasons report. After that we did some work on our planets and space. Then to finish the day we did our planet model.
