Hello, how are you? On Big Thursday we started of with story telling with Mrs Renno. We were acting out the story. The story was about a boy how helped kill a sea monster. Next was P.E with Miss Stapelton. We were doing some hockey, we were practising stearing with the hockey stick. Then we had computer science with Miss Pattie. We were doing animations with scratch. Me and Josie made a cat walking and a cat flying. That was fun. Finally we did outdoor learning with Mrs Jardine. We were building a teepee. I was in a group with Rhys, Josie and Sarah. We accidentally did it in the middle of the playground. By Orla.

Hello, today I started with reading comprehension. I did one about Anne Frank and John Lennon. Then I did maths, in my maths I did tidying up expressions and I did the fish problem but my mum had to help me. After that I went on epic. Hello everyone! Today I’ve made a terrarium. The other day we got some more plants from my granny. After that I did my five a day and then went sumdog. My mum is also going to give me some other things on maths. Then I will do spelling. I’m not sure what i’m going to be doing in it yet. Then my mum will give me a few things to do about Japan. I will do a bit more about polar bears. After that I will go on the on the teams thing. I will do the thing that I’ve not finished after. By Orla.

Hello how have you been getting on? I’m enjoying home learning. I like how I can do work in my dressing gown. This lockdown its just me and my mum so it’s a lot quieter. Today I started with literacy. I did some comprehension, it was called you are old Father William, which I had to finish from yesterday. I did another thing but I don’t what it was. Now I’m going to maths. I will be doing revision on fractions and percentages because I finished the equations. Then I will do some of the polar bear stuff. After that me and my mum will go on a walk with the dog somewhere. When we come home I will find out a few things about Japan for a project. Hope you have a good day by Orla!

On Tuesdays we go to French. We have been revising days of the week and the months.  We have been putting those together  and forming a sentence and saying our birthday dates. At the end we sometimes play a game of bingo or twenty one. We practise our numbers thirty to one hundred. We have learned how to play Simon says in French. Madam Hamilton gets us out really quickly.

Mary’s meals is a charity that helps children in poverty. They help children to get an education. Children walk five miles to go to school and get a meal. That meal could be their only meal that day. They have sponsored days which go live on YouTube.

Today we were doing a sheet involving area and perimeter.  The sheet is about designing an office for Miss Stapelton. It has to be an area of sixteen meters squared. Today me and Cleo had to calculate how much the wallpaper costs and find furniture for the outdoor office.  We also had to go file our assessments and did some harder percentages.

Yesterday the class had to make a model. We got two syringes and a  tube. Pneumatic is the name of the air going through the tube. This is me and Cleo’s model. We tied a box to it to see if it could handle it. The model barley handled it when it moved. Me and Cleo tried Lego but it wasn’t going to work we tried K’nex again. We are going to try to put some things in the box to see if it could handle it.

A couple weeks ago we did a clan meet. All the clans arrived with a parade and then sat around the fire. We had our notes and flags. We started of with our clan dramas or dances. Most of them were about hunting. My clan hadn’t rehearsed so we had to make it up by the minute. I think it was okay. Some of the clans did great dances as well. After that we read out our note and put them into the fire to send to the fire god. W had to just put a bit of paper and make some thing up to say. Then we did the best archer. Some them went really far. I forgot, we did the fastest runner race.
