Hi its Rory and Jullien! on Monday morning we had spelling workout like every week on Monday Tuesday and Wednesday

after that we had done reading box card after that we had Break.

then we done maths and what we done was finish are maths assessment graph them and mark them.

after that Mrs Nyondo showed us a poster she made about her life in Africa.

then we had health week and Jullien/me made fruit kebabs and 3 other teams done yoga rock painting and village walk

In school we have been learning about 2D Shapes And Africa.

We have been watching a program about Africa it is called Africa’s Child were we learn about different parts of Africa and how children live in those Country’s.

I have also moved up to the orange level on 5 a day a few days ago.

On big Thursday  for P.E we done gymnastics me and Erin tried to do a head stand it was hard. After we done music with the drums…………………..

In P.E last week we done karate. we are learning about Africa we are watching a movie about the life of a child in Africa. this week is health week yesterday our group was doing P.E we done doge ball,capture the flag.in big Thursday we are doing Djembe drum for music scenes from the Lion king…

So this week we are starting a personal project about five animals in Africa. I chose Giraffe, zebra, Ostrich, Lion and cheetah. I decided to do a poster to display my information about those animals

BONUS! It’s Rhona here!!! (Because there wasn’t enough laptops) and I’m here with Lottie to tell you all about learning at Holywood! Of course Lottie has already told you some stuff. So number 1 is since our new topic is Africa we made a HUGE map of Africa to go on the wall and it took forever but it was worth it in the end!! :DDD  And we also are learning about the African animals and have to pick 5 to make a poster on and mine are gonna be a SURPRISE so that when I put them on the blog it’ll be like a nice wee surprise. :)))

(Lottie) Hi again this week is also health week so 4 things to do 1. paint/yoga 2. A walk 3. fruit skewers 4. PE all i have done so far is walk.

Hiiiiii payton here today we are talking about my learning. on Big Thursday we were doing Djembe drums, drama, P.E, and Lego we do. On Djembe drums we are learning what hand to use how to hold the drum i think I’m really good at the Djembe drums. Drama is with miss McNae  and at the start we are doing a game and we have to hit you’r leg and clap you,e hands then click and we were doing lion king my group was number 6. P.E  was with miss pattie and it was gymnastics i nearly done a head stand but Lottie had to hold me up. i nearly fell 🙂 .

All about big Thursday. for a starter we have P.E for P.E we do gymnastics and we do different moves like a head stand and a cartwheel. once we have done that we go to music and we get the drums and we do some different pasterns after that we do the lion king but on the drums but its hard for starter but once you ave done it 3 or 4 times it gets easier.Now we have Lego we do and we did Milo and to be fair it was easy so next time i will do a harder 1. Then we have drama and we did the lion king and we practise it for a while but it was fun. That,s it from me.

Hello! Last week we made some remembrance paintings to remember the soldiers in the world wars. We painted backgrounds of red, yellow, orange and pink. Then we traced over a picture of a solder silhouette and then drew it onto black card. We cut the card out and glued it to our backgrounds. Some of us added some poppies. We made a remembrance wall display.

 

I done the landscape painting with the pink background.

Erin and today I will tell you about things.

at school this week I made a billy Stevens newspaper front cover and the school has now got nesssy for a  few people in clouding me. nesssy is a website to hep with spelling and reading you watch videos witch tells you strategy’s  to help with spelling and reading and then you play games to practices the strategy’s you leant  you practice thins that you don’t   get to practices a lot  in p6/7
