Hi all, Caspian is back.

Today I found out 10 facts about George Stephenson:

1.He built the first railway in the world.

1. He built the Miner Safety Lamp. It didn’t explode like previous lamps.

2. He was born on the 9th of June 1781…

3. …And died on the 12th of August 1848, aged 67.

4. His train was called The Rocket.

5. His children were Robert and Francis Stephenson.

7.His second child Francis, died when she was a few months old.

1. He has a bridge named after him.

9.He opened the Liverpool and Manchester railway.

1. He was originally a miner, that is why his first marriage proposal was turned down by the father of his first love.

Those are the 10 facts about George Stephenson and his family.

Also Tanith made a lovely cake and did not at all bother to help Mum and I do the washing, drying and putting away.

Today I made my own cake. This is the recipe. 4oz sugar, 4oz flour, 4oz butter, 2 eggs and 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence. This is how I made it. First I washed my hands and tied my hair back. I put the sugar and the butter in first and mixed them. Then I added the eggs. The eggs were messy to do! Then I added flour and vanilla and mixed it all together. Then I added some pink food colouring to make my cake even more special. After I put it in to two cases, mummy put it in the oven for me. When the cake came out and cooled, I made some butter icing. I spread home made jam between the two layers and added some of the icing then I spread the rest around the outside of the cake with help from mummy because it was a bit hard for me to do on my own. I topped the cake off with some fairy smarties on the top. We are having my cake for tea for afters.

I also worked on words that rhyme and made up a poem for Halloween.

Halloween is where you can make buns and have fun;

You can trick or treat that means you get some sweets;

You can play with cats in hats;

I can play and say games;

Halloween is fun for buns;

I can bake fun yummy buns.

Hi all, Caspian is back. I know I already made a blog today but I wanted to write one about my findings of utter disgustingness. I found two cans of alcohol, both not even finished before thrown away. Whoever it was…ANIMALS DON’T LIKE TO GET DRUNK!!!!!!!!! I also found two bottles of Weetabix’s Get Up And Go. The one tiny bit better than the alcohol was they were empty, but that doesn’t make it better than littering in the first place. I found a smoking packet and some plastic bags. Whoever littered around the road by the Old School Cottages and the road to the railway station…I’ll send an army of Cybermen for you on the 11th of October 2020.

Hi all, Caspian is back!

Thankfully this time I didn’t make you wait for 6000 years! Today I have been doing an acrostic poem about evacuees about how they felt during the Second World War. I have created a poster about my favourite place, Silloth – go there after the pandemic, you won’t be disappointed. I also did some more business studies. I wrote down ten reasons why dog toys are good for business and why I have chosen to set up my business selling them. I finished off by doing some decimal work.

Today I have been doing my spellings, maths and I also created a poster about why people should visit the seaside on holiday. Caspian is letting me do Sumdog also. I am very excited because I am making a cake tomorrow for one of my lessons.

Hello,

Today I have done some spelling and learned about George Stephenson’s Rocket steam engine. I also did my maths and only got two wrong. I am reading about Snow-White and Rose-Red at the moment and am doing very well with my joined up writing. Thank you for the pumpkins. Mummy made yummy pumpkin and ginger tea bread and we are also going to make pumpkin jam. We walked up to school on Friday and got some of Mrs Maddens apples so mummy is going to make apple pies. For one of my lessons I am going to make a cake all on my own but mummy will watch and also do the oven bits for me. Erin came round and brought Caspian and me some chocolate cupcakes which were really nice and it was lovely to see Erin. At the weekend I helped make some tomato chutney with the school tomatoes. I also have another wobbly tooth. When I checked my Miraculous box, I found a new one. It is Reena Rouge’s miraculous. Mummy says Master Fu must have known that I have been good so it has been entrusted to me. I hope you are all safe because the coronavirus is being very scary again.

Hi all, Caspian is back after a very long time,

The reason I have not been blogging for a long time is because I have been doing long walks, picking berries and trying to get on the leader boards of the Sumdog challenge. Currently I am at 459 questions left and have been decorating my house. In the comments could some of you write down your friend codes because I have a VERY valuable item worth 4230 coins(It is the golden Sumdog). I have got to the Indian Elephant rank and have 2780 coins left before I become an Okapi.

Mum made 30 more jam jars and Tanith gave some of her “Star Jelly” to Erin for testing and in return we got some delicious cup cakes. Me and Tanith have formed a big relationship between ourselves and the lego. I have made an extremely big spaceship. I would like to put a picture of it up but…I dropped it and will rebuild it.

I have also been continuing my business studies work to decide which item I want to retail in my online shop.

I am making bread on my own this week for home economics lesson and I did some work on the periodic table this morning.

the past months we have been doing photography with miss Jarden on big  thursday. We took lot of photo’s and wore very creative with them to. One time we even edited them. we had to take pictures of bugs flowers trees the sky ourselfs and more. My partner was always Ella. During photography we always learned how to make them look good.i liked when we took pictures of bugs because we lifted rocks. while we took our photos we stayed away from the guys doing p.e . we took loads of photos.

Hello everybody. Today I will be talking about our clan meet and what we had to make to prepare for the clan meet. Before the clan meet we had to make head dresses, a dance/roleplay and a flag. The only one my clan didn’t get finished were the head dresses because they didn’t fit. For our roleplay we agreed on making a roleplay about our clan hunting 3 buffalo. 4 of us were the people and the other 3 were the buffalo’s. After that we finished our flag we were working on. Our flag was our clan symbol which was a bird coloured in red resembling a red kite. We wrote our clan name in ruin then outlined it. We had to use natural material to colour it and draw it. We used blackberries for the bird and we used leaves for the rest. When we finished the flag we decided to tie the flag to a long stick. After making everything we had to decide who was our fastest runner and our best archer. Bailey was the fastest runner and Orianna was the best archer in our clan. Once we were ready it was time for the clan meet. We walked over the hill then down the hill then sat down. We started with the fastest runners. The ran round the hill,through the tunnel and back to the rocks and Bailey won. After that we did our roleplay. I was a bit nervous but excited. I enjoyed all of the roleplays and dances because most were quite funny. When all the roleplays and dances were finished it was time to see the best archers.

There are three forces push, pull and twist gravity is a pull force to pull us down to the ground.

If there was no gravity we would be dead and floating round in space .

For gravity we made parachutes and a playdough ball we threw the ball down 3 times then  we put the small parachute  on and threw it down 3 times then the medium parachute and threw it down 3 times then we done the same with the big one the parachutes made the balls go down slower.

At the end of the day when we where making and using gravity miss dale tied a big tarp on to Larsson and we ran down the hill it was to slow him down like the parachute did to the playdough ball.
