Scottish spearmen formed themselfs into squares called schiltrons.

Peasons and farmers would join  the battle with any weapon they could find.

Horses had to be strong to cary a  Knight in armour.

There are several important  that a king needed.

The husbandmen owned the biggest part of land.

The unfreemen were the poorest peolpe in the village/location.

Market training began at the ringing of a bell.

Inspectors checked the quality of the goods in the market.

Soldiers could collect items from home in parcels.

The english court poet was captured and had to be compose victory verses from the Scots
