Fab Fit Friday!

We have had a busy week rehearsing for our Christmas Nativity, and if we have a speaking part our scripts are now at home for you to practise with us! Today was our Fab Fit Friday Dancethon – every class travelled around the school and took part in different dance activities within each classroom. We enjoyed some Harry Potter yoga and relaxation as well as our dances and we all agreed that it was a great day!

Lava Lamps and More

We have had another busy week here in P2. We had a brilliant Science workshop and we made our own Lava Lamps to bring home. We also started making our own instruments with the Big Noise. We made violins, violas, cellos and double basses.

In Literacy we have been learning about different punctuation. This week we practised using question marks correctly and some of us started working on exclamation marks.

We learned about some events that happened in Dundee in our topic lessons and this week we focused on the Tay Rail Bridge. We learned about the disaster and we took part in a bridge building challenge of our own. It was tricky but we used our superhero characters to help us. We worked together, like Tabitha Teamwork, and we didn’t give up, just like Tough Tommy.

Next week is our Assembly, on Wednesday. We have letters in our school bags inviting you all to join us and we can’t wait!
