In Numeracy, we have been using our knowledge of addition and subtraction strategies to solve word problems. Next week, we are moving onto multiplication and we are excited to start something new.
In Literacy, we have continued reading Fantastic Mr Fox. We can answer questions to show our understanding. We created a wanted poster for Mr Fox, which had to include lots of details such as a description of him and why he needed to be caught.
In Health and Wellbeing, we have continued to explore how our thoughts affect our feelings. We know that having positive thoughts will help us feel positive. In PE, we continued to improve our fitness through different exercises. We recorded how many of each exercise we could do in a minute and compared this with our results from 3 weeks ago to see if we had improved.
We have continued to learn about key people from the Scottish Wars of Independence. This week we learned about Robert the Bruce, Margaret Maid of Norway and John Balliol. We completed a co-operative learning activity in which we matched the facts to the correct person. Next week we are learning about the Battle of Stirling Bridge.
