Our Week

In Art we made spiders webs.  We had lolly pop sticks and we had to weave around them.  (Lauren)

We also made fake tie dye.  We made circles with different colours with oil pastels.  Then we got a rubber and we rubbed it out which mixed the colours. (Finlay)

We played a little bit of Sumdog.  Sumdog is a fun maths game.  (Kaden)  It’s American (Jessica) although some people don’t agree.

In maths we are doing units, tens, hundreds, thousands and ten thousands.  (Caelen)

We watched the Pantomime, Alice in Wonderland, on Monday.  It was funny.  (Jessica)

At the end of the day we sometimes watch Funnybones.  (Freya)

In House Hobbies we are about the Paralympics and we designed our own T-shirts and shorts for the games.  (Chloe)

We are reading a book by Chris Hoy called Flying Fergus. (Kaden)

For writing, we wrote a recall of our visit to the Alec Caravan (Libby L)

Our spelling phoneme (P4) is “ae”.  It can be written “ai”, “ay”, “ea”, a-e. (Cristen).  “ey” too reminded Chloe. Although apricot and April don’t follow the rules.  (Kaden)

Our spelling sound is e-e, a-e, o-e (P3).  (Oscar)

We played “What’s the time Mr Wolf” in French (Freya). In French it is “Quelle  heure est t’il, Monsieur La Loupe.  (Jessica)  We played “unlucky 11” in French too and I won!  (Finlay)  We practised numbers to 20 in French (Casey)
