Our work is incredible!!!!
The children are showing a real interest in superheroes so we have created a new board “Our work is incredible”
A group of boys with Miss Strachan made a superhero story! We also drew pictures to go along with our story…
I think it’s INCREDIBLE so I’ve put it up on our board. The boys shared it with their friends too.
Please feel free to come into nursery and read our story.. or check out the photos below.
Whats happening this week – 11th September, 2017
We are delighted to see the children making new friends and settling in to life at Mill O’ Forest Nursery. All our new starts are responding well to the nursery routine and this week they have been contributing to the nursery golden rules. Tomorrow we are hoping to go out and about looking at all the different house styles, perhaps passing a few of our pupils houses and exploring house numbers. On the numeracy table we are drawing around our feet (or we may paint them) to measure length. We will go on to use these to walk around our nursery as all the children are learning to do. Several afternoon boys made up their own superhero masks with Miss Ross yesterday which led to them story making with Miss Strachan this afternoon. Keep an eye on our ‘ incredible’ board to see how they got on. Well done boys!
Mandarin in the Nursery
The morning children have been very lucky to be working with Miss Qiang learning about Mandarin. Last week they learnt how to say Hello and today they counted to 10.
Please keep an eye of the nursery board to see what we are doing each week.

Good luck to all our new Primary 1s. We can’t wait to see you this morning in your school uniform. Enjoy your first day.
For those going to Dunecht and Carronhill School, have a great time making new friends and if you can get back for a visit we would love to see you and catch up.
Many Thanks
Well that’s us half way through the holidays and I hope you are all having a wonderful break with your families.
Can I say a huge thank you for all the lovely cards and gifts you gave us at the end of term.
Much appreciated.
