“Hello” and welcome to P6L’s Blog, This week’s bloggers are Eva and Rachel. We are going to talk to you about what’s been happening in P6L this week.
On Wednesday the 13th of September it was Roald Dahl day and we watched a clip on how Roald Dahl became a famous author and where he wrote his books and it was very interesting. We got to find out what Rohl Dahl character we were: Rachel was like Matilda and Charlie and I was Matilda. Roald Dahl afternoon was fun!
In class we are also writing a whole class letter to a French class and the French class will write back to us in French. P6L are all really excited to learn about our French Pen pals!
In reading we have started a book called “The boy who swam with Piranhas”. The main character is called Stan and his Uncle runs a fish factory in their house and Stan has to sleep in a cupboard, a bit like Harry potter! Stan’s uncles house smells like FISH! But one day, on Stan’s birthday, his Aunt Annie wants to get Stan a treat so she steps up to Uncle Ernie and gets Stan a day off. Stan goes to the Fair that’s just arrived in their town. There he sees a hook-a-duck stall and wants to save the goldfish that are dying. We are eager to read more!
