Well-Being Wednesday: Mr.Mutch vs Mr.Reid #3
In their Hardest Challenge Yet, the Teachers are Back!
Mr.Mutch vs Mr.Reid returns this week to bring you an episode inside. We understand not everyone is able to get outside as much as they would like. So, this challenge is perfect for indoors.
This challenge needs time and patience, a perfect opportunity for you to find a quiet space to practice. It is best when you have calm breathing and you are focused. This challenge was really hard for both Mr.Mutch and Mr.Reid.
We both had to believe in ‘The Power of Yet!’ and keep trying.
We are now on episode 3 and we are both very thankful to all the families taking part and making it a big competition in their homes. We have been sent pictures, videos and messages of all the hilarity these challenges have caused.
Enjoy episode 3 and don’t forget to message in your time and find out where you place on the leaderboard next week!
Literacy – Reading Activity – Hot
Our focus for the next two weeks will be on articles related to Climate Change. The following activity focuses on the article titled ‘Climate change: Carbon vacuums and kinetic pavements – five ways tech is fighting climate change’

Play Sumdog with Mr Reid and Miss Deans – Spicy/Hot – Numeracy – Term 4 – Week 3
Good morning everyone
If your child has a Sumdog account, they will be able to play with Mr Reid and Miss Deans between 12pm – 1pm today.
Mr Reid will be playing – Street Racer
Miss Deans will be playing – Animals
Each game will start on a 5 minute interval, meaning that the first game will start at 12pm, then 12.05pm, 12.10pm etc.
When selecting ‘Who do you want to play against?’ – Select ‘Class’.
We have added every teacher to each class, so we should all be able to play together!
We look forward to playing Sumdog with you all.

I hope that you all had a lovely weekend and are excited to see the new Home Learning Grids.
Over the last week, I have been learning to play a song called ‘True Colours’ by Cyndi Lauper. The reason for selecting this song was because the Methlick School Choir have been learning it too!

Your teachers have been tasked to use their designated time outside following social distancing rules to throw a paper plane as far as they can.
Research a unique design and then take to the skies and throw it.
