Our Class Climate Action Plan

After taking part in Keep Scotland Beautiful’s Climate Action Week live lessons.  We wrote this action plan to add to our Green Flag Action Plan.

We harvested our potatoes. P1and 2 came to see all our produce  before we harvested it and then we lifted our tatties ready for cleaning and storing.  We also had peas to pick. The carrots were too small.

A group prepared home fries for the class using our own potatoes and onions.  We cleaned, peeled and chopped the produce before frying and presenting it to our classmates.  It was delicious.

These reports were written by groups after our bioblitz of the school grounds over a morning and an afternoon.

Each report has an action plan to improve the grounds for wildlife.

We took our litter pickers with us when we visited the beach for our One Planet Picnic and were delighted to  find hardly any litter.

Our experiment showed that air with more carbon in it is warmer days later. We graphed our results to make them easy to see.
