Early Stages Sports

P4c went to see the lower stages sports.  And the sun was shining and they were doing javelin, superman, egg and spoon race, and hurdles.

They were trying to get the ball into the tyre, they were running  round poles, stiltwalking, kicking the ball round poles and jumping in a sack.

Primary 1, 2 and 3 worked really hard at their sports day and they had a lot of fun.

Sports day

Tuesday 18Th June 2013  the upper stages all attended down at the field. Parents to come down and watch us too.  Everyone was really good. It was really fun and everyone took part. We are really excited to hear the results. First classes took part in fun races , like  the monkey run,the three legged race, the crab race, football dribbling and the five shirt race. Then every class took part in a flat race. Everyone was pleased that the weather was good enough to hold sports day, epecially the p4s, who had not had a sports day for 2 years!

We are now hoping that the weather is good enough for the Lower Stages to be able to have their sports tomorrow!

P3 Easter Extravaganza

Don’t be fooled by the name it really was a extravaganza!!!!

P3 were in the spotlight on the Tuesday before the holidays. Amazing singing and dancing from all of the p3s. All of the blogger team enjoyed it, did you enjoy it?

All of the p3  remembered their lines and enjoyed themselves

Three cheers for the P3s!!!:)

The play was about the Easter story. They all dressed up to make it more life like.

The p3’s did one performance for the school and the following day another one for parents. Both performances were excellent!

Nativity

Primary 1 worked very hard to produce a wonderful performance of the first Christmas. Their performance included lovely singing and great costumes. The cast included innkeepers, kings, shepherds, angels, stars, narrators, sheep, Mary, Joseph and many more.

They performed first to parents and relatives. The audience were invited to make a contribution towards Driel, the schools sponsored child.

After that they performed to pupils and staff. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the performance. Well done Primary 1!

Christmas Carol Orchestra Concert

Recently there was a School Orchestra Christmas Carol Concert. The Orchestra enjoyed it as much as the audience. There were violins, a cello, a flute, a clarinet, trumpets, a trombone and a piano.

Here are all the songs they played below –

Deck the Hall, God Rest You Merry Gentlemen, St Anthony Chorale ( not a Christmas carol but very nice). Good King Wenceslas, Away in a Manger and Hark the Herald Angels Sing.

The Orchestra is also going to be playing at the church on Friday.
