Primary 3 had a coffee morning last Friday and they raised over £300. Many parents came to buy a cup of tea or coffee and a piece. Parents really enjoyed the event. Primary 3 held this coffee evening because they wanted to raise money for Macmillan Cancer. Well done Primary 3!

Primary 3 are heading down to the Glamourhaugh Allotments to collect seeds and make “seed bombs” as part of the Bee Happy festival. These will then be “thrown” at Battlehill to encourage bee friendly wild flowers to grow in the woods.
Primary 3 are taking part in Macmillans “Worlds Biggest Coffee Morning”. They are holding their coffee morning on 28th Septmeber. Parents have been invited. Money raised will be donated to Macmillan Cancer Care.
Last year Macmillan raised £10, 079,153 which they used towards supporting people affected by cancer and their families.
