The nursery are having a campfire this Thursday (8th Nov) and they are really looking forward to it. The fire is part of their outdoor education. Mr Grey will be helping them make the fire. Before they make their fire they will be thinking about safety rules . They will be making their fire in the nursery garden. They are making some food to cook on their campfire, such as baked marshmallows!
It was great fun and everybody got a marshmallow!

The nursery have been spending a lot of time outside, and have been able to use their brand new waterproof suits (bought with money raised on their sponsored walk) to keep themselves dry. The have been enjoying digging in their garden and using the giant tyres.
Thank you to everyone who took part with the nursery sponsored walk. A considerable amount of money has been raised, which will will help provide waterproof clothing for the children. improving the outdoor area and curriculum is a key development for the nursery and the new clothing will really help with this.
The nursery will be doing a sponsored walk next week. The money raised will go towards to purchase of wet suits, so that the children will be able to play outside no matter what the weather is like.
More details to follow.
