P6 Trip to Haddo House

Both p6 classes had a trip to Haddo House, during their time there they attended a Murder Mystery around the grounds!

The Murder Mystery was 2 miles long and it took 2hrs to complete. They had to walk all around the grounds searching for Clues, some clues were hard to find and some were easy! The clues were objects around the grounds such as logos, information boards and lots of other objects around the grounds!

The classes were split into groups and each group had a teacher with them with the answer sheet!

When they got back a person from each group and went onto the website that the Murder Mystery was organised by and typed in their reference number and wrote in their details and left a comment to the organisation!

Everyone enjoyed their trip to Haddo House and also everyone came back smiley and cheerful!

If you would like go on a Murder Mystery trail like this one then use this website to get one booked:

Sharing Assembly

We enjoyed the sharing assembly today, watching 2 different dances.

First Mrs Innes’s Primary 1 class showed us the dance that they have been learning.  They looked very smart wearing kilts and their dance was excellent.

Then the new Huntly Castle Tour Guides (the present p5’s) showed us the dance that they havebeen learning for their launch, which is taking place at Huntly Castle next week. They danced a Pavanne, and looked very impressive wearing their beautiful costumes.

4c’s Tadpoles and Frogs

4c has lots of tadpoles and baby frogs. And they are swimming fast. The baby frogs are green colour with a hint of brown in their body. We are really lucky to have tadpoles and frog-lets in our class. Some baby frog-lets are back where they belong in the Bin Forest but you can find them anywhere in a damp place. Once when we put two baby frog-lets in a tub and one nearly escaped but luckily our teacher Mrs Sell caught it in the tub, and it was lucky that it didn’t die.
