On Tuesday 10th January P5/6 welcomed an Animal Rescue Officer into our class. We were learning about the work that the Scottish SPCA does and how they support abandoned and injured animals – from animals in the wild to domestic pets. We watched a video of the Scottish SPCA in action, played a game similar to monopoly that helped us learn some facts about animals by pretending to be a Animal Recuse Officer. At the end of the session we got to ask the animal rescue officer questions. We had a lot of questions.
