We have been busy doing lots of Christmas crafts. Here are some photos.

Reading – Books will be taken in on Monday. No new books will go out this week.
Maths – This week we will do some Christmas related maths with some addition, subtraction, multiplication and grid references.
French – This week we will revise some of the topics we have covered.
Homework – There will be no spelling homework again this week.
Topic – The children have been busy making Christmas booklets which they will take home at the end of term. Any unfinished sheets can be completed at home if you’re looking for a time filler. We will also do some more Christmas crafts including our Christmas cards.
Well done to Kadey, our pupil of the week. She was an excellent helper at the Christmas Concerts getting others dressed in their outfits.
Last Thursday each class had a chance to show their gymnastic skills they have been learning with Mrs Brechin in PE.

Our Christmas enterprise light up snowmen decorations sold out at the open afternoon. The money we raised will be used for P3 class activities.

Homework – Our spelling pattern this week is oa. Please write each word 3 times and choose 2 words and write a sentence with each. Spelling test will be on Friday this week so homework should be completed by then. Some of the children have an extra spelling challenge again in their homework book.

Topic – Our Egyptian topic is still carrying on but some of our topic time is now being taken up with Christmas rehearsals. Last week the children were finishing off lots of their topic work and putting together an Ancient Egypt dictionary to help them remember the meanings of some of the words we have been finding out about.
