Remember Monday is a holiday and Tuesday is an in-service day so the children are only in Wednesday – Friday.

Outdoor learning continues this week on Thursday morning with Mr Miller. Please be prepared to go out in any weather.

Superhero Day is on Friday. Come dressed as a rel life superhero and bring a donation for Cash For Kids.

Letter Sounds

We have now completed all the letter sounds. This week in class we will revise our letter sounds and practise our blending. There will be no spelling/word making homework this week.

There will be no common word homework this short week.

Reading

The children will get 1 new book on Thursday.

 

Maths

This week we will continue with our money topic. We will be looking at the value of coins and adding and subtracting with money.

 

As part of our Big Maths we do CLIC sessions in the class. This short week we will focus on our learn its.

Learn its –  2 + 3 = 5,  2 + 1 = 3

 

 

Topic

Our next topic for this term is health. We will be looking at healthy eating and discussing 5 a day for fruit and vegetables.
