This week we have the Christmas Concerts on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons.

Friday is Christmas Jumper Day and Christmas cinema afternoon.

Letter Sounds

This week our letter sounds are ai and j. Sound ai homework should be completed for Wednesday and letter j homework should be completed by Friday.

Common Words

Keep revising the first and second word walls. Words for this week are for and from. Please complete the common word homework for Thursday. You may need to help your child to write the number after counting the words together. They can now also try to write the words.

Reading

The children will get 2 new books this week on Monday and Thursday. We will continue with Big Cat Collins. These books have lots of repetition in the stories so your child may remember the words from the previous page.   Encourage them to look at the words or point to them as you read.

Our concert dress rehearsal is on Monday afternoon and our final performances on Wednesday and Thursday. We will also be doing some Christmas activities.
