A few weeks ago Martin came and did samba drumming with us. We used drums from Brazil called Surdo drums. If you lifted them off the floor and hit them they made a huge drum sound. We learned how to keep the beat by stomping our feet and learnt how to put the straps on.

Some of our favourite parts were the banana song ,the sly mongoose song and playing the drums in general. My favourite part was that everything vibrated when you hit the drums.

Some of us would like to learn more drumming ,the trumpet, bells, guitar and maracas.
