Our class have a class contract which we follow to earn pompoms which leads to treats. How this works is we have rules that we follow and when we do something  kind, respectful or responsible we earn a pompom into our cup and when we fill our cups we get to choose a prize. We wrote the class contract together and decided on the treats as a class.

I find it really encouraging when I earn a pompom and it makes me feel good to make another person feel good. Isabella really likes to get a hot chocolate and treat when she fills her cup. I also really like the hot chocolate and tasty treat as well.

The idea for this came from ‘Have you filled a bucket today?’. The book teaches us that we will feel happy if we do kind things and make others feel happy!
