Oban High School’s Loch Eil Adventure!

Ten members of Oban High School’s Senior Pupil Leadership Team attended Loch Eil Outdoor Centre recently completing a Teams and Leadership Development Course.





The students were exposed to adventurous sessions that allowed them to test and develop their skills. The aim of the course was to have fun and experience real adventures, increase their skills in communication planning and problem solving, be more effective team players, have an understanding of team roles, have an experience and understanding of team roles, understand the importance of being a role model, have increased concern for, and greater awareness of the natural environment and finally leave with an action plan that they can use within their role in Oban High School. The course included activities such as Raft Building, Problem Solving and the group also embarked on a two day camping expedition. Many of the students found some of the course very challenging physically but they encouraged each other and as a result each student completed the course successfully.
