Primary 4 at Dunoon Primary could not believe their eyes when Jake a member of their class came into school carrying a bottle with a message inside, because they had been discussing messages in bottles in class. At first they thought Jake was playing a joke. The bottle had to be cut open to get the message out and to everyones surprise it really was a message in a bottle! It had come from a P4/5 class in Gourock and even more surprisingly they had been studying weather just as Primary 4 had! There was an email address so primary 4 and Jake immediately sent off an email and the emails have been going back and forward ever since. There was a request in the message to recycle the bottle however Primary 4 do not wish to part with it so have decided to reuse it instead. At the moment they think they might use it to keep name tags in.
