Tarbert Academy drama club recently took part in the Argyll Drama Festival which took place in Ardrishaig village hall. The club has at present 18 members, 14 from P6 and 7, 2 from first year and one each from second and third years. The play they performed was “A Thirty Minute Dream” which is an abridged form of Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.”


The performance was very well received by the discerning audience and the pupils are now preparing to perform again but this time for their classmates. The Drama Club is coached by Mrs Susan Connor, one of our teachers. The club meets weekly after school. Well done!
