We are very, very proud of our Cross Country runners. At the annual Cross Country Run for P6 and P7 pupils in Helensburgh this morning our little peninsula school sent 14 runners and gained 2 x 3rd places, 1 x 4th place, 1 x 5th place, 1 x 12th place and 1 x 13th place. What an achievement!! ALL our runners crossed that Finish Line to earn a well-deserved medal.
Marcus, P6 and Jessica, P7 are pictured showing off their 3rd place medals. A record number of children took part this year – 455 in total from all the local Primary Schools.
We would like to thank Martin Caldwell, Helensburgh Athletics Club and all the organisers/helpers on the day. See you all next year!
