Pupils at Southend Primary have been working on a Fairtrade project this term. One of the tasks was to make and sell products using Fairtrade ingredients. Parents and friends in the community came along to the annual Bring and Buy Sale and the Fairtrade Treats were soon sold out.




Earlier in the week the children designed their ultimate fairtrade banana butties. The various concoctions were delicious! The picture shows the filling for a ‘Banuttie Buttie’. Cool name, eh?
