Tarbert Academy is taking part in the national initiative Champions in Schools.

This initiative links sports champions with schools. Tarbert Academy has been linked with Judo and Wrestling Commonwealth Games Medallists Donna and Fiona Robertson originally from Campbeltown.

During their visit to the school Donna and Fiona gave an inspiring presentation about setting and achieving targets. This was followed by a demonstration of a range of Judo and Wrestling skills.

This visit was the first of a series where pupils in S2 will work with Donna and Fiona looking setting and achieving personal goals.
