Rothesay Primary celebrated Christmas together at the United Church of Bute on 21st December. Primary 7 welcomed parents, carers, family and friends by singing carols while Primary 1 got ready. Then, we smiled as in came Mary and Joseph, the shepherds, angels and the innkeeper and his wife – with many travellers – all waving when they saw someone they knew! Primary 1 told the story of Christmas alongside the P7 narrators, with the whole school singing along. It was magical! To finish the service, P1, 2 and 3 sang ‘We wish you a merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!’ which Rothesay Primary would like to send out across Argyll and Bute. Families met in the church hall afterwards to congratulate their children and buy our beautiful photographs as a keepsake of this special day.
