Although there are only four wee girls at Achaleven, they love to sing and have been practising very hard some songs to celebrate the Nativity. Our first outing was to the local Etive Club, where we added our songs and poems to their Christmas celebrations. A visit from a very funny Santa soon had us all giggling. Word soon spread that the girls were lovely singers and we were invited to sing for the residents at the Lynne of Lorne Home in Benderloch and Eader Glinn Home in Oban.
The girls were delighted to entertain the residents and donned their Santa hats and set off to bring some Christmas cheer around the local area. Our last outing was to St Oran’s Church in Connel where we performed our own version of the Nativity as four Angels who kept the stars shining brightly to show everyone the way to the stable. The Mums and Dads loved the show and the girls were wonderful learning words and singing their songs. They just love being Christmas Angels!
