Friday the 7th of December brought the return of the Christmas Market back to Lochgilphead Joint Campus. This year’s market was yet again a huge success with a total of £ 2400.00 exceeding previous years’ totals. The hall was packed with a variety of stalls with different themes and goods. A particular success was the stall from the Technical department which was quickly sold out. Santa’s grotto with our , Santa, his elf, Rudolph and the Snowman went down a treat with all, especially those from the primary. It was great to see there were large numbers of parents supporting the market and buying goods. Along with lots of new stalls there were musical performances on the stage from the LHS choir and flute ensemble which got everyone into the Christmas spirit. The language department yet again had many stalls from countries around the world and offered food and drink from their specific countries including delicious pretzels from ‘Germany’. Many thanks go to Mrs Campbell from the Modern Languages for all her hard work into making this year’s market bigger and better and I’m sure we are all looking forward to next years.
