All primary teachers and support staff are invited to attend free Get Creative primary music CPDs in September 2019 and January 2020.

As part of the Youth Music Initiative, we are offering twilight CPDs using Get Creative, a music resource for primary school teachers full of creative ideas, activities and learning outcomes to enable you to deliver musical activities with your class, regardless of your musical experience.

Jenny England (Primary Music Specialist) will be delivering the sessions across Argyll and Bute and we would love to see as many primary teachers and support staff there as possible. No musical experience necessary!

September 2019
Get Creative with Improvisation and Composition.
This CPD will introduce creative approaches to developing improvisation and composition, including body percussion. The activities will support sustained concentration, collaboration and musical development in the classroom.

January 2020
Get Creative with GarageBand.
This CPD will introduce creative approaches to using technology in the music classroom, focussing on how to use GarageBand and music technology to support and develop music making for all abilities.
